The Rome University of Fine Arts, Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, incorporating the Istituto Superiore di Design e Comunicazione Visiva (High Educational Institute of Visual Communication and Design), has obtained the Certificate of Conformity to the UNI EN ISO 9OO1:2OO8 Standard for Quality Management Systems, adopted for the creation and endowment of academic, professional, open and master courses in the fields of fine arts and design.

A STRATEGIC DECISION
The adoption of a management system, which corresponds to the criteria of quality, constitutes a strategic decision for the Academic Institution. The quality management system was designed and realised on the basis of various didactic needs, with the aim of achieving specific objectives set by the Management and Teaching Staff. The objectives set depended on the types of service provided for the students and the teaching methods used, taking into account the dimensions of the school’s structure and organisation.

STUDENT SATISFACTION
RUFA has objectively demonstrated its ability to regularly provide services, which satisfy students' expectations. The implementation of the Quality Management System, and continual improvements in its efficiency in accordance with the requirements of international standards, has the goal of increasing students' satisfaction. For this reason, the figure of the student occupies a central role in Academy programmes.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITY
The RUFA Administration assumes the responsibility for promoting the development and implementation of the Quality Management System and the continual improvement of its efficiency. The aim is to provide continually innovative didactics, which help harmonise and optimise the relationships.
With their demonstrable professional experience, the Academy's teaching personnel are aware of the relevance and importance of their own activities and how they themselves contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
