RUFA has shown over the years the
ability to provide services that punctually comply with the expectations
of the students to increase their satisfaction. Therefore the student
occupies a central role in the programmes of our Academy.
RUFA
wireless is a project of the Rome University
of Fine Arts to provide the installation of a wi-fi infrastructure
for Internet connections. The aim of the project is to enable
the academic community (students, faculty and staff) to access
Web services using notebooks or handheld device / PDA (Personal
Digital Assistant) equipped with wireless network adapter compatible
with standard 802.11b and 802.11g.
The Library of Arts is a fundamental tool of study, is divided into many areas: painting, stage and set design, architecture, sculpture, decoration, advertising graphics, engraving, cinema, photography. Another area is devoted to texts of general culture and a section containing all our thesis. In addition to the normal opportunity for consultation and loan, this structure offers a qualified support service for research and acquisition of relevant documentation and data, even through internet. >>> Learn more about (only in Italian)
This is a Weekly Student Support Service, oriented towards senior year students to help them in writing the degree thesis.
The Gallery, real centre of the
Academy, also because of its location, is placed in a fully equipped
room and is accessible through the evocative lecture halls that are
part of the School of Painting.
The Rome University of Fine Arts
can provide accomodation near the school and in the historic centre
of Rome. Other possibilities of accommodation are provided by Laziodisu, the Agency for University Right to Study in Latium, through the annual public announcement.
The University Chaplaincy is a structure at students' service, a place to promote human and Christian education: for young students - with particular attention to international and offsite - for professors and technical and administrative staff.
RUFA has organized, with public and private agencies, the most appropriate stage to contribute to the achievement of specific skills and has defined further, for each Course, the specific training objectives, including references to the corresponding job profiles. The internship programs chosen by the Academy, have the objective to offer students the opportunity to enjoy an interesting interaction with the world of culture and profession that affects the fields of visual arts, design and applied arts.
RUFA students can enjoy discounts and facilities to purchase equipment for technical drawing, fine arts, stationery and computer at corporate suppliers, presenting the university card or the discount card of the store.
In accordance with the rules established by decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of April 9, 2001, students of Rome University of Fine Arts participate to the assignment of Scholarships and services provided by the Right to University Studies.
RUFA Coordination Office punctually exposes and updates interesting and important announcement for public competitions, and collects all supporting documentation for registration and participation.
For the A.Y. 2011/2012. during the period from November 1st to November 15th, is scheduled publication of the internal competition for the assignment of scholarships for student cooperation in activities related to services rendered by the Academy, excluding those related to teaching activities and recruitment of administrative responsibilities.
