RUFARTGALLERY

A new space is in addition to the increasingly dynamic and various background of Art galleries in Rome. It's called Rufartgallery, is located in the Salario-Parioli district, a step from Piazza Verbano, in Via Benaco 2, and has opened its activity in 2006, April, with a great event dedicated to Futurism.
Paintings by Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Italo Griselli, Mario Menin and drawings by Fortunato Depero and Gino Severini have been exhibited for the launch of the last-born between the roman Art galleries.
Ala Marinetti, the daughter of the founder of the Futurism, has been the honorary patroness of the Ceremony.
Designed by the designer Romeo Guaricci in collaboration with the architect Alessandro Gori and the set designer Alessandro Vergoz, from an idea by Andrea Romoli Barberini, Rufartgallery reflects the wishes of RUFA to provide an equipped place able to increase the dialogue between our Academic Institution, with its educational and cultural activities, and the “system of the Art”.
The Gallery, real centre of the Academy, also because of its location, is placed in a fully equipped room and is accessible through the evocative lecture halls that are part of the School of Painting.
In addition to the exhibitions of our professors and students, of artists coming from other Italian Fine Art Academies and training institutions, the exhibition programme, will include events dedicated to both famous and new artists emerging from outside the context of the academies.

Moreover, RUFA offers its students a website, a real virtual gallery, in which they can exhibit their work.
The RUFARTGALLERY website has been entirely designed and created by students of the Graphic Design Course.
