R.U.F.A. -- Rome University of Fine
Arts, has established an open course of Art History, which goes alongside
those of Painting, Sculpture, School of Nude, Decoration, Photography,
Engraving.
These lessons last two hours each and are held once a week.
The course, which can also be followed independently from the others,
proposes a crossing of the basic themes of art, placing at its core
the issues of colours, shape, and structure of the image and its meanings,
with the support of the most important works of the major artists of
Art History.
The aim of the course is not the acquisition of historical
and technical concepts, but the acquisition of tools for an exhaustive
and conscious
approach to the Art.
At the end of the course students will have the opportunity to have
a key to access to general aspects of the profound question of "beautiful",
creativity, imagination and poetry of images.
The course includes guided tours and visits to exhibitions, museums,
galleries, archaeological sites, Churches of Rome.
The course is held only in Italian language.
Entrance requirements and Enrollment:
Good understanding of Italian language (the course is available only
in Italian); direct enrollment in Secretariat.
Minimum Course lenght: Three months / 12 lessons (36 hrs.)
