Painting and Drawing for children (aged 5 - 12 years)

ITALIAN version

The lessons, lasting two hours each, are held once a week on Thursday or Friday, 5:00-7:00 p.m. The course can have a trimester, semester or annual duration and the classes are composed of a maximum of ten pupils. For those pupils who complete a yearly cycle (three trimesters), an end-of-the-year exhibition will be held with the awarding of certificates and with a catalogue featuring photographs of the students and their works.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY FOR APPLIED ARTS FOR CHILDREN
• An approach to the objects in the physical world that surrounds the child and the raising of awareness of one’s own capacities in relation to it.
• Tactile workshops, tactile communication of the child, stimulating experiments with an array of materials.
• Gestural and corporeal games with the use of pencil and crayons, with different spatial possibilities on the surface of the sheet of paper, to foster the discharging of repressed tension in the child and the discovery of the realm of graphic representation.
• Utilization of recycled materials – collage.

The course is held only in Italian language.

Entrance requirements and Enrollment:
No particular qualifications needed; direct enrollment in Secretariat.

Minimum Course lenght:
Three months / 12 lessons (24 hrs.)
