Giovanni Masi was born in Rome in 1980. Graduated in Communication Sciences, he is a subjectwriter and screenwriter. He has worked as story-editor, screenwriter and producer. He has collaborated with Rainbow Spa, Red Whale, Cinecittà, RAI Fiction, Giochi Preziosi, Lucky Red. For Rainbow CGI has participated in the creation of the feature films “Winx Club II – Magica Avventura”, “Winx Club III – Il Mistero degli Abissi”, “Gladiatori di Roma” and the TV series “Winx Club”. For Sergio Bonelli he collaborated as a scriptwriter to the feature film in live action “Dampyr” and as a scriptwriter and creative producer to the animated series “Dragonero Adventures”. In comics he created, with Mauro Uzzeo, the series “Il Confine” for Sergio Bonelli Editore and, again for SBE, he collaborated as scriptwriter for the team-up “Flash/Zagor – la scure e il fulmine”, for the series “Orfani” and “Dylan Dog”. For Bao Publishing he wrote the volume “Frantumi”. For Star Comics he wrote the adaptations of “The Portrait of Dorian Gray”, “Heart of Darkness” and “The Mountains of Madness”. For Editoriale Cosmo he wrote the series “Battaglia”, “Caput Mundi” and “Un Eroe, Una battaglia”. For Nicola Pesce Editore he wrote the volume “Guna”. For Aurea Editoriale he created the series “Axel Ardan” and “Diana Wicce”. For GP Publishing he wrote “Harpun” and the volume “Donran”. For Kappa Edizioni he wrote “La storia di Sayo”, the volume has been translated in France by Dargaud publishing house.
