Raffaele Passerini

Director, Writer, Producer, Professor. Raffaele started his career in US Indie movies as First Assistant Director and Line Producer. In NYC he also started his own video-production company, Oikos Films, providing Web content for clients such as the Department of Education of the State of New York (DOE NY) and the United Nations (UNDP). Raffaele also collaborated as Associate Producer at the New York Film Festival and at the New Directors New Film Festival/ MOMA for the Lincoln Center Film Society. As a Writer-Director, Raffaele produced two short movies and the feature docu-film “Il Principe di Ostia Bronx”, winner at the Biografilm Festival. He also co-wrote and produced the first Radio RAI Podcast, “Labanof”, winner of the Prix Italia and second prize at the Prix Europa. Raffaele is currently working on his first novel, his second feature film and his first TV series. Raffaele also served for several years as a teacher at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and as Academic Director at the Roma Film Academy (RFA). He currently teaches at international Master Programs, in English, at the Rome Business School (RBS) and at the Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA).
