All art drawing condensed into a short and comprehensive course.<\/h4>\n

The intensive art drawing course is designed to meet the needs of those approaching drawing for the first time<\/strong>, but also for those who want to acquire new techniques and greater familiarity by working on existing bases. <\/p>\n

Translating reality on paper will be possible thanks to a guided path through the basics of freehand drawing<\/strong>, and then going into more complex aspects through gradual individual activities, with an exit to do life drawing exercises.
\nAmong the notions covered: recognising basic geometry in drawing, observing and reproducing different shapes, managing the space of the white sheet, reproducing proportions, understanding more complex shapes, giving volume to the subject through chiaroscuro and mezzotint, familiarising with the basics of perspective, reproducing the human figure from the draft to realistic drawing.<\/p>\n

At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued, based on attendance at least 8 of the 10 lectures, for a possible recognition of 2 ECTS.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n

Objectives: in the Artistic Drawing course each participant has the opportunity to develop a personal pathway to learn to observe and synthesise what is seen on a sheet of paper, starting with simple subjects and moving on to more and more complex ones.<\/p>\n

INTRODUCTION<\/strong>
\n– Basic notions of drawing;
\n– interpreting reality through drawing.<\/p>\n

BASICS<\/strong>
\n– Shapes in drawing;
\n– how to manage space;
\n– reproduce simple objects through proportions (from life and from photos);
\n– draw more complex shapes starting from the draft.<\/p>\n

LIGHT\/DARK AND HALFTONE<\/strong>
\nGiving three-dimensionality and volume to the drawing through chiaroscuro and halftone.<\/p>\n

PERSPECTIVE<\/strong>
\n– Central perspective;
\n– accidental perspective;
\n– applying perspective in drawing. <\/p>\n

ANATOMY<\/strong>
\n– General notions of anatomy and proportions of the human body;
\n– reproduce the proportions of the human body by drawing from life;
\n– reproduce the human figure from the draft to the final drawing.<\/p>\n

LIVE DRAWING<\/strong>
\nThe course includes one or more outings with life drawing exercises of natural subjects, people and monuments, depending on the interest of the individual participant.<\/p>\n

\n– Block canson A3 white smooth or semi-rough paper;
\n– Drawing block for sketches;
\n– Pencil B, 2B, 6B;
\n– Eraser and kneaded eraser;
\n– Pencil sharpener;

Comic artist, illustrator and colorist, born in Rome in 1983. He starts working in comics in 2006 with small works for Edizioni Bd, Cut-up publishing, Tunu\u00e9, Comics Provider and in ads for Sky, Studio Universal, FIGC, Ministero delle politiche agricole, Ferrari Spa, Scar Film and Ministero dei trasporti. In the following years he works in Italy for Aurea editoriale (Galaxy Lion, Garibaldi), Editoriale Cosmo (Le nebbie di Caporetto), Panini comics (Il ragazzo invisibile), TIWI (We Race comic: Ferrari, Tintoretto: un ribelle a Venezia), Tunu\u00e9 (7 Crimini), Sergio Bonelli editore (Attica). In the US he works for IDW Publishing (DRIVE, G.I. JOE), BOOM Studios (Sons of Anarchy); he works on Space junkies for the indian market and on Ash airways for the irish market. He is one of the founder members of the Skeleton Monster collective, which promotes several events in Italy and produces indipendent comics and magazines (WRONG, Inchiostrato non mescolato). With Round Robin editrice he is the artist for the \u201ce lui che mi sorride\u201d, which wins the Siani award in 2011 and Bulletproof Diaries: Afghanistan, written by reporter Barbara Schiavulli. Both books got a new edition by PaperFirst in 2020. In the Illustration industry he worked with Regione Lazio (Festa del Cinema di Roma) and Rizzoli Libri (Lercio). Since 2020 he teaches comics classes.<\/p>\n
