\nThe MA in Set Design is an opportunity for students with an artistic and creative personality, in search of a professional environment, to express their visual and design talent, and to receive a highly specialized training.
\nBeing able to imagine the space used to narrate as a three-dimensional space means having a mind that is flexible and practical, able to compose and recreate depth and beauty.
\nDesigned to train specialized professionals, the two-year Set Design Course at RUFA is the result of a solid academic tradition in teaching art, design, stage and theatre.<\/p>\n

Set Design, the show is the space around the action.<\/strong>
\nSet Design is the noble art of creating the stage, the technique of designing the space and the lighting around the action, the narration, and the magic of imagination.
\nA fundamental profession that is essential to the successful outcome of any performance, including theatre, opera, film, television, concerts, set up preparation and exhibits.
\nThe Set designer designs and creates using lights, materials, textiles, architecture, woodwork, 3D modelling, furnishings, finishes, decorations and costumes.
\nBecoming a stage or set designer opens the doors to a large selection of professional opportunities from working in the world of show business, to art and creative direction, and to the activities of interior designers and decorators.<\/p>\n

\nThe MA in Set Design provides students with a high-level of specialized technical and design training achieved during their studies with solid and constantly updated learning opportunities such as professional collaboration, internships, and workshops with national key players of the set design scene.
\nThe two-year course in Set Design is part of the Department of Design and Applied Arts, the section of RUFA academic studies that provides a high-level of specialization and technical preparation, setting high standards of academic and design education each year.
\nBy graduating in Set design you will be able to become: Set designers, Interior designers, Costume designers, Lighting designers, Stage technicians, Stage Design Directors.<\/p>\n

The Academic Master of Arts is equivalent to a University Master\u2019s Degree<\/p>\n
