\nStaging a performance or an artistic\/cultural\/political\/trade union event today requires specific and effective skills. Knowledge of the applicable health and safety measures is a key requirement for working in audiovisual, film and art productions.
\nStaging a performance, in fact, can entail hazards arising from the artistic \/ direction needs, exposing the technical crew and performers on the stage, as well as the public, to the risk of physical injury. The purpose of the course is to teach, analyse and interpret the relevant complex and organic regulations. Understanding the applicable provisions is no easy task, which is why the teaching staff can provide all the assistance, information and insight to apply the law, compatibly with the setting requirements.<\/p>\n
\nGiorgio Mallamaci, born in 1951, graduated in Engineering and Architecture and is qualified to practise as an architect. He is also a fire prevention expert, registered with the Italian National Fire Fighting Agency. He has attended training courses in occupational health & safety, pursuant to Italian law (Legislative Decree 626\/94), organised by the Association of Architects of the Province of Rome in 1995. Since 2001, he is Health & Safety Coordinator and R.L. at RAI and, since 2015, consulting health & safety coordinator at Di Marted\u00ec, a current affairs programme aired by the Italian commercial TV broadcaster La7. He has also worked at Mediaset testing and inspecting sets and props. He has a significant teaching experience: since 2007 he is a member of the teaching staff of the courses for training health and safety coordinators at the Faculties of Economics and Psychology of La Sapienza University. He also taught the same subject in 2003-2006 at the Rome head office of the C.N.A., and then in 2006-2007 at the Citicord of La Sapienza University. In 2008 and 2012, he taught at the health and safety courses for training middle managers at Astral (Anas Lazio) and at the Corte dei Conti, respectively. The other support teaching staff includes a lawyer expert in the subject, a set designer and a specialised engineer.<\/p>\n
