The Master in Fine Arts<\/strong> is the natural continuation of the Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Visual Arts and Sculpture and Installations. Nevertheless, it may also be attended by students who come from other educational backgrounds and who wish to complete their studies by studying contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The Master of Arts is divided into 4 curricula: Painting<\/strong>, Painting with Specialisation in Performance Art<\/strong>, Sculpture<\/strong> and Printmaking<\/strong>, which share the same structure and vocation. These courses are in English and are the best solution to perfect, enrich and enhance the preparation of artists, creative professionals and cultural operators. During each academic year, 6 one-week master classes will involve students in many projects under the guidance of internationally renowned artists and professionals.<\/p>\n

In a strongly stimulating and practical environment, students will have the opportunity of studying in an in-depth manner all of the practical and theoretical aspects related to each curriculum and to contemporary art such as: installations, performances, video art, public art, art criticism and the art market.<\/p>\n

Nowadays artists are multidisciplinary professionals that are increasingly in demand by companies and creative entities that value their ability to find innovative and surprising visual and design solutions. The artist works closely with companies and businesses, for the success of projects and events.<\/p>\n

The 21st<\/sup> century artist is one who transforms the perception of reality by creating new aesthetics and many different worlds. For this reason, studying Painting, Painting with specialization in Performance Art, Sculpture and Printmaking through this Master of Arts is an investment for the future of our culture.

\n

The Painting curriculum gives great importance to the history and mechanisms that originate painting, tackling them through the study of fundamental subjects such as iconography and anatomical drawing, phenomenology of contemporary arts, art management. But at the same time it also allows students to deepen their knowledge in innovative forms of expression; graphical, pictorial, plastic or technological.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Painting with a Performance Art specialization<\/div>
\n

The Specialization in Performance Arts offers a comprehensive approach to both the practical and theoretical dimensions of performance. This program is designed to offer students tools to develop a profound understanding of the body in time and space, which is central to performance art and to facilitate the production of live works in front of the audience. By combining traditional and contemporary methods, the curriculum equips students with the tools necessary to navigate the physical and conceptual challenges unique to this medium. Students are encouraged to develop a personal artistic language while engaging with performance as an evolving form of contemporary art. They are challenged to address issues of identity, politics, and the human experience, using live art as a platform for experimentation and boundary-pushing creative practices.<\/p>\n

\n

Through the Sculpture curriculum students learn how dominate matter and space, and how finds their artistic voice. At the same time they learn how to enter the contemporary art scene by studying specific subjects such as performative techniques, sculpture techniques, psychology of art.<\/p>\n

\n

The Printmaking curriculum prepares students to face any type of request in the field of art and graphics (including publishing), by relying on their ability to recognize beauty and recreate it through specific techniques and technologies. Traditional and innovative studies broaden the professional possibilities of the artists. Printmaking, experimental plate engraving techniques and illustration are some of the specific subjects.<\/p>\n
