The meeting, open to all RUFA students, is led by lecturer Fabrizio Pizzutos.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nAlice Conconi is the partner and senior director of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.andrewkreps.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Kreps Gallery<\/a> in New York.<br \/>\nAfter her studies at Universita\u2019 degli Studi in Milan she started her career working in cultural organizations and contemporary art galleries in Italy and later moved to NYC in 2011.<br \/>\nSince 2018 she is part of the selection committee of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miart.it\/manifestazione\/miart-2021.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miart &#8211; Fiera internazionale d&#8217;arte moderna<\/a> in Milan.<\/p>\n<p>The talk guided students through the functioning of an art gallery and its operations in the complexity of the contemporary art world: artists&#8217; representation and promotion, gallery exhibitions, institutional opportunities and art fairs.<br \/>\nHow do art galleries operate promoting artists and their vision in a competitive art market?<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #80379b;\">About Andrew Kreps Gallery<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Andrew Kreps Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York, representing the works of more than 30 international artists and estates, including Hito Steyerl and Barbara T. Smith. Founded in 1996, the gallery was initially based in Chelsea before relocating to its current Tribeca space in September 2019.
