RUFA students at the heart of the \u201cMind The Gap\u201d contest promoted by ANTEAS Nazionale. On April 8th, 2025, the exhibition of works by RUFA students from GD \u2013 Comics and Illustration took place as part of the \u201cMind The Gap\u201d contest.<\/h3>\n

 
\nPromoted by ANTEAS Nazionale<\/a>, the project aims to tackle loneliness and social distress among the elderly<\/strong>, with a particular focus on problem gambling (GAP)<\/strong>. The main goals include strengthening social bonds, promoting volunteerism, encouraging active listening, and preventing social marginalization.<\/p>\n

In line with an intergenerational perspective, a founding value of ANTEAS’s actions, a collaboration with RUFA was launched, leading to a contest involving students who were invited to explore \u2013 through illustrations and comic strips<\/strong> \u2013 the various aspects of loneliness and gambling addiction. Guiding them through this creative and human journey were RUFA lecturers and illustrators Emilio Lecce, Daniele Bonomo, and Claudio Spuri, who supported the students in developing powerful and engaging projects. Project coordinators for ANTEAS were Claudio Capezzuoli and President Giuseppe De Biase, who believed in the value of this collaboration and in fostering dialogue between generations.<\/p>\n

A total of 48 students took on the challenge, creating works that approach this delicate and complex topic with extraordinary sensitivity, emotional depth, and narrative talent.<\/span><\/h4>\n

 
\nThe illustrations, touching and authentic, demonstrate a surprising maturity in expressing vulnerability, hope, and unspoken desires. The layout of the displayed works was also curated by the students themselves, highlighting their comprehensive and thoughtful design process. During the exhibition, 12 finalists were selected, and their works will be featured in the association\u2019s official calendar. Among them, three winners were awarded book vouchers worth \u20ac500, \u20ac300, and \u20ac200 respectively: Francesca Anniballi, Sophia Rahbaoui, Mattia Emily Gramaglia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An important recognition that celebrates creativity and the students\u2019 ability to empathize with the lives of others. RUFA is proud of all participants and congratulates them for turning an educational experience into a genuine moment of reflection and storytelling through the powerful language of illustration.
