{"id":145924,"date":"2025-06-14T18:44:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-14T16:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/?p=145924"},"modified":"2025-06-16T12:08:01","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T10:08:01","slug":"scomporre-il-gesto-masterclass-con-matilde-sambo-tra-corpo-suono-e-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/en\/2025\/06\/14\/scomporre-il-gesto-masterclass-con-matilde-sambo-tra-corpo-suono-e-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Deconstructing the Gesture: a masterclass with Matilde Sambo exploring body, sound and video"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>From 26 to 30 May 2025, RUFA hosted the masterclass \u201cDeconstruct the Gesture\u201d led by artist and lecturer Matilde Sambo\u2014an intensive experience that engaged Fine Arts students in a practical and poetic reflection on the gesture, through bodily movement, sound and video.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nStarting from the keywords <strong>body, gesture, play<\/strong>, the workshop invited participants to explore the expressive and symbolic potential of movement, also through unexpected tools: from \u201cplaying cards\u201d featuring fragments of famous artworks to the collective construction of a clay \u201cplayground\u201d, transformed into a surface for narration, imprint and relation.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of five days, the RUFA space turned into a site of continuous experimentation, where gestures took shape and memory also through video documentation, drawing, photography and shared listening.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-4by3\"><a title=\"\"\"Deconstruct the gesture, Through bodily movement, sound and video\" - Masterclass di Fine Arts con Matilde Sambo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/unirufa\/albums\/72177720326875299\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"embed-responsive-item\" src=\"\nhttps:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54588638646_2e644a1b9c_h.jpg\" alt=\"\"CORNERSTONES: L'arte di RUFA alla Temple University\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe final outcome took shape as a <strong>collective and layered work,<\/strong> capable of highlighting individual identities and fostering a deep dialogue between the various languages involved.
