{"id":148897,"date":"2025-10-21T20:44:02","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T18:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/?p=148897"},"modified":"2025-10-29T12:36:00","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T11:36:00","slug":"schegge-ritrovate-selezionato-per-il-medfilm-festival-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/en\/2025\/10\/21\/schegge-ritrovate-selezionato-per-il-medfilm-festival-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cSchegge Ritrovate\u201d selezionato per il MedFilm Festival 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The short film <em>Schegge Ritrovate<\/em>, written and directed by Carlotta Venturini, a RUFA Cinema graduate, has been selected to take part in the 2025 edition of the Methexis Project at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medfilmfestival.org\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\">MedFilm Festival<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p><em>Schegge Ritrovate<\/em> will be screened as part of the out-of-competition showcase <strong>\u201cSguardi dal futuro\u201d<\/strong> on Sunday, <strong>9 November at 2:30 PM<\/strong> (second in the program) at the <strong>Cinema Moderno in Piazza della Repubblica<\/strong>, in Rome.<br \/>\nThe film has already been selected for several festivals, including Pigneto Film Festival, ifest, Afrodite Shorts, Ischia Global Film &#038; Music Festival and Outsider Garbatella Film Festival, and was a semifinalist at the Outdoor Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The story follows <strong>Marco<\/strong>, a young man on the margins of society who wanders through the streets of Rome during a lonely night. After stealing a battered Pinocchio from a street vendor, his only goal becomes returning home to give it to his son. But the journey soon turns into a surreal path, populated by strange figures and encounters suspended between dream and reality, leading him to confront a deep pain \u2014 an absence that only the little puppet can help him face.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-3\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Locandina-Schegge-Ritrovate.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30173\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unirufa.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Locandina-Schegge-Ritrovate.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/a>\n <\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-9\">\n<p>The short film was developed within Carlotta Venturini\u2019s academic journey at RUFA, where it was conceived, written, and produced as part of a didactic project. The film represents a collective experience that made it possible to face the challenges of an independent production, transforming a work born in an educational context into a mature piece capable of engaging with festival audiences. <em>Schegge Ritrovate<\/em> is currently <strong>distributed by the production company Calamaz\u00f9<\/strong>, which supports its journey through national and international circuits.<\/p>\n<p>Year: 2025<br \/>\nDuration: 18\u201910\u2019\u2019<br \/>\nGenre: Fantasy, comedy<br \/>\nLanguage: Italian<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nBorn in 2002 in Verona, Carlotta Venturini moved to Rome in 2021 to study Cinema at RUFA, where she explored various roles \u2014 from directing to screenwriting, from production management to assistant directing. <em>Schegge Ritrovate<\/em> marks her directorial debut and an important step in her creative path, combining an authorial vision, visual sensitivity, and a narrative language that is both intimate and universal.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe idea for Schegge Ritrovate was born from the enigmatic figure of Marco and the mystery surrounding his existence,\u201d<\/em> says Carlotta Venturini. <em>\u201cI was interested not so much in revealing his secret, but in exploring how each of us faces and overcomes absence.
