At Amarcort 2025<\/b><\/span>, young filmmakers meet the Fellini Festival<\/b><\/span>, building an ideal bridge between the Maestro\u2019s imagination and the gaze of new generations.<\/p>\n

On Saturday 29 November<\/b><\/span>, at 2:30 p.m.<\/b><\/span>, at the Cineteca di Rimini<\/b><\/span>, the Amarcort Film Festival<\/b><\/span> will host a special selection from the Fellini Festival<\/b><\/span>, a project born under the artistic direction of Raffaele Simongini<\/b><\/span> within the classrooms of RUFA \u2013 Rome University of Fine Arts<\/b><\/span>, and developed thanks to the collaboration with Poliarte Ancona<\/b><\/span> and LABA Florence<\/b><\/span>. This encounter is made possible through the interest and support of the Fellini Museum<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the programme is TORNA RESTA<\/b><\/span>, a medium-length film composed of four episodes directed by emerging young talents who reinterpret the Fellinian world with different sensitivities:<\/p>\n

Stories that drift between memory, invention, and vision, like an album of dreams in motion.<\/p>\n

Alongside them are two animated works \u2013 Quattro e un quarto<\/b><\/span> by Laura Ettori<\/b><\/span> and Orrendi scarabocchi<\/b><\/span> by Pietro Ciccotti<\/b><\/span> \u2013 which transform Fellini\u2019s imagery into elastic, soft, and surprising forms. And, as a special screening, Omaggio a F.<\/b><\/span> by Daniele Cipr\u00ec<\/b><\/span>: not a debut film, but a small magic lantern that lights the way for younger artists, reminding us that Fellini remains a living territory yet to be explored.<\/p>\n

The Fellinian programme of Amarcort 2025<\/b><\/span> unfolds across several days and events.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday 26<\/b><\/span>, at 6 p.m.<\/b><\/span>, at the Cineteca di Rimini<\/b><\/span>, poet and scholar Rosita Copioli<\/b><\/span> will lead a masterclass inspired by the unpublished Fellini materials she has curated: from concepts for television spots promoting reading to the treatment of L\u2019Olimpo<\/b><\/span>. It is an opportunity to explore\u2014starting from her book Gli occhi di Fellini<\/b><\/span> and her curatorial work\u2014the lesser-known territories of the director\u2019s imagination.<\/p>\n

On Thursday 27<\/b><\/span>, at 3 p.m.<\/b><\/span>, again at the Cineteca<\/b><\/span>, it will be the turn of the masterclass by G\u00e9rald Morin<\/b><\/span>, Fellini\u2019s collaborator in the 1970s and founder of the Fondazione Fellini in Sion<\/b><\/span>, who will receive the first of this year\u2019s two \u201cA Fellinian in the World\u201d<\/b><\/span> awards. The second award will be presented to writer Andrea De Carlo<\/b><\/span>, assistant director on the set of And the Ship Sails On<\/b><\/span> and director of the documentary Le facce di Fellini<\/b><\/span>, shot during that very production. He will be interviewed on Friday 28<\/b><\/span>, at 9 p.m.<\/b><\/span>, at the Cineteca<\/b><\/span>, by Nicola Bassano<\/b><\/span>, former head of the Fellini Archive of the Cineteca del Comune di Rimini.<\/p>\n

By hosting this selection and these encounters, the Amarcort Film Festival<\/b><\/span> renews its commitment to preserving and revitalising the Fellinian legacy: with the international award \u201cA Fellinian in the World\u201d<\/b><\/span> and with training activities and workshops that invite young people to experience cinema as a place of invention, freedom, and wonder.<\/p>\n

A meeting\u2014between Amarcort<\/b><\/span>, the Fellini Festival<\/b><\/span>, and the Fellini Museum<\/b><\/span>\u2014that does not look only to the past but sparks new energy in the present: a path fully aligned with the mission and work of the museum, dedicated to keeping alive the dialogue between the city, new generations, and the cinematic heritage of the Maestro.<\/p>\n
