EmergeNYC is a Latinx-led incubator and affinity network that supports socially engaged artistic practices, offering a space for development and exploration of the intersections between art and activism. The program encourages processes of research, experimentation, and reflection<\/strong>, fostering the creation of new works capable of questioning and redefining dominant narratives.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2008 at the NYU Hemispheric Institute<\/strong> and now active in Brooklyn, EmergeNYC brings together an international community of artists \u2014 largely BIPOC, migrant, and LGBTQIA+ practitioners \u2014 committed to building networks of solidarity and practices of cultural resistance.<\/p>\n

Julia\u2019s admission to this context represents an opportunity for growth and exchange within a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment, further reflecting RUFA\u2019s commitment to artistic paths that engage with the social and political issues of our time.<\/p>\n
