The start is scheduled for March 4. Theoretical activities will alternate with practical ones, allowing to broaden and deepen the notions of normal teaching. Artists, experts and professionals, and this is exactly the strong point of the RUFA workshops, are ready to confront with students to give shape and substance to new projects and to determine cognitive paths different from normal conventions. The workshops, thanks to the contents they are able to express, allow students to acquire training credits: an additional incentive to facilitate the connection between theory and practice. Registration must be completed by Tuesday, February 12, by filling out the appropriate FORM from 11.00 am on Thursday, February 7, 2019.<\/p>\n

1.The Actor and the Text, from the stage to the film set. <\/strong>

\nThere is a point of contact between cinema and theater: the actor. The activities will focus on the study and analysis of some scenes and monologues taken from classical and contemporary plays and their film versions. Through the technique of “work by images”, students will be able to verify the differences between the two performances.

2.Polychrome Xylography. <\/strong>

\nA path of deepening in polychrome xylography. The classical sixteenth-century techniques will be dealt with, their reworking by the great engravers of the last century, up to the methods developed in twenty years of research and study by Umberto Giovannini.

3.Typology. <\/strong>

\nIn the world of contemporary typography the return to an understanding of composition is increasingly urgent and necessary, not only as a stylistic recovery, but above all as a regaining of cognitive and creative potential. As has been happening for some time in the Anglo-Saxon and Northern European world, for many young graphic designers the recovery of tradition represents the important link between the history of graphic design and contemporary visual design.

5.DOC DOC: Instructions for use Writing techniques for the documentary. <\/strong>

\nDocumentary cinema has now established itself as one of the most interesting and innovative forms of cinema in recent years. In many European countries the cinema of reality is valued for its ability to promote reflection and debate. But how do you build a documentary project? What are the phases and tools that lead to the realization of a documentary starting from the writing of the project in view of the meeting with a producer?

6.Retail Brand Visibility Project Management. <\/strong>

\nGet to know the retail world of the large-scale retail trade (large-scale retail), such as shopping centers and hypermarkets, its logic and its communication needs combined and compared with those of consumer brands (Findus and Galbani), illustrating the most hidden details. \nThe workshop aims to provide basic, practical tools for entrepeneur designers through a series of lectures and excercises. Conclusion of the workshop requires each student to design and produce a product in limited edition and to sell it at an end of workshop function.

9.DESIGN AND CREATE WITH CELLULOSE ACETATE. <\/strong>

\nInvestigate the design possibilities offered by the material most used in the industrial and artisan production of contemporary eyewear: cellulose acetate. It is included the realization of glasses in unique copy (free from large scale production constraints) and the design of accessories such as jewelry and \/ or furniture products.

10.Salone del Mobile 2019, Milan. <\/strong>

\nA thematic path among the exhibition areas of the Salone del Mobile: Euroluce, Zona Brera, Zona Tortona, Salone Satellite, Lambrate Ventura, Triennale. The aim is to get in touch with original fittings, innovative manufacturers, materials and technologies with a strong impact in terms of research and trends.

11. “MANIFESTATI” – redesign experiment. <\/strong>

\nThe plastic chairs that meet in every place like bars, gardens, restaurants. What makes them so popular? Is it just because of the price or because they are almost indestructible, lighter and easier to clean? No matter what the questions and answers are, plastic monobloc chairs are the perfect expression of an object without identity that can be produced in just 70 seconds.

12. “STAGECRAFT” – set design for music conventions and social events. <\/strong>
