From 18 to 20 October Rome will host the XIII edition of the international competition &#8220;The 48 Hour Film Project&#8221;. Students, enthusiasts and professionals will commit to making a short film in just 48 hours. The particular event, supported and sponsored by RUFA, takes place within &#8220;Videocitt\u00e0&#8221;, the Festival of Vision created by Francesco Rutelli and now in its second edition. The competition involves 140 cities on five continents and sees the capital as the only Italian stage. Registration for the contest is open until October 16. The winning film will compete against short films from all over the world at &#8220;Filmpalooza 2020&#8221; where, in addition to the grand prize, it will be able to win the opportunity to compete in the &#8220;Short Film Corner&#8221; section at the Cannes Film Festival 2020. <\/p>\n<p>The 48 HFP Rome is an initiative created with the contribution and patronage of the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual &#8211; Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Embassy of the United States of America. The entire experience is organized by Le Bestevem, a cultural association composed only of women, working in the artistic and audiovisual sector, engaged in the search for new models of conception, production and audiovisual distribution.<\/p>\n<p>For the fifth consecutive year, RUFA &#8211; Rome University of Fine Arts, will also award the &#8220;RUFA Special Prize&#8221;, offering a cash prize to the best talent. <\/p>\n<p>All the information and modalities of participation can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.48hourfilm.com\/roma\">competition website <\/a>.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All set for the most adrenaline-fuelled film festival there is.
