One More Pictures and Rai Cinema are also calling on RUFA &#8211; Rome University of Fine Arts students to create the best script for a VR short film and to develop a cross-media project that will be produced within the next year in order to promote virtual reality and new audiovisual languages.<\/p>\n<p>An excellent chance to confront themselves with national television and film productions to promote a new model of connection between the language of cinema and other forms of storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>One More Pictures with Rai Cinema Channel, together with the authors, will expand the narrative universe of the winning project in order to develop it in other forms. A real innovation laboratory that, for this edition, also aspires to create a videomapping as a form of narration of the project.<br \/>\nThe contest offers scriptwriters and filmmakers the opportunity to make a linear short film and a virtual reality one, produced by One More Pictures with Rai Cinema. The selected project will have a structured launch path and its visibility and enhancement will be amplified by the presence of prestigious media partners, the collaboration with Rai Com and the partnership with VideoCitt\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"download-btn\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rai.it\/dl\/doc\/2019\/11\/20\/1574262029040_REGOLAMENTO%20GENERALE%20-%20CONTEST%20LA%20REALTA%20CHE%20NON%20ESISTE%20-%202%20Edizione%20.pdf\">Download the call<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The winner of the 2018 contest was the short film &#8220;Happy Birthday&#8221; which deals with the difficult theme of Hikikomori. A highly topical script that has become a highly innovative transmedia project, built on three different contents: a linear short film, a short VR and a social short. The short film was directed by Lorenzo Giovenga and starred Fortunato Cerlino, Jenny De Nucci, with the extraordinary participation of Achille Lauro. &#8220;Happy Birthday&#8221; was presented among the special events of the 76th Venice Film Festival. The contents dedicated to this project have obtained, on the social channels of Rai, Media Partners and talent, excellent results: 8 million people reached, over 200 thousand interactions and more than 5 million views.
