The <strong>&#8220;Design 4 Parents&#8221;<\/strong> competition is open, designed to bring <strong>the theme of neo-genitoriality<\/strong> to the attention of the general public.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to direct creativity to the development of an object or service useful to those who become mom or dad for the first time.\u00a0Promoters of this competition are <strong>Filo<\/strong>, a company specialized in the realization of <strong>IoT devices<\/strong>, including the baby saver Tata Pad, and <strong>ADI &#8211; Association for Industrial Design<\/strong>, a delegation from the Lazio region, which brings together designers, companies, researchers, teachers, critics and journalists on design issues.<\/p>\n<p>The contest was born under the sign of <strong>innovation<\/strong> and will end at the next edition of <strong>Maker Faire in Rome<\/strong>, scheduled <strong>from 10<sup>th<\/sup> to 13<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/strong>: the winners will be awarded during the event that, par excellence, combines <strong>innovation, design, technology, entertainment and business<\/strong> in a unique format, ideal stage for companies and innovators.<\/p>\n<p>The call, specifically, is addressed to the research of new and useful projects for new parents, with a particular attention to sustainability, designed for the safety of the child or to simplify the daily routine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The contest is addressed to inventors, designers, innovators, companies and startups<\/strong>. It will be possible to present your project <strong>by November 29th, 2020<\/strong>. The proposals will be evaluated by a committee that will select the <strong>8 finalists<\/strong>.\u00a0The finalist projects will be exhibited on the digital platform of Maker Faire Rome and on the social channels of the partners Filo, ADI Lazio and Maker Faire Rome.\u00a0Among the finalists, the jury will choose the winning proposal, which will be awarded a <strong>prize of 5 thousand euros<\/strong>.
