The road to equality, peace and the protection of rights passes through the cinema<\/strong>. This is the context in which “Una storia per Emergency” (A story for Emergency) takes place: a call for entries aimed at those aged between 16 and 25<\/strong>. The contest wants to promote a reflection on the social and health consequences of war, on the universal right to care, on the reception and protection of human rights<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Emergency addresses the new generations to stimulate an original and complex narrative<\/strong> on sensitive issues, offering a careful and specialized listening to proposals for stories for the cinema and the possibility of transforming them into short films. <\/p>\n

The winning screenplay will be put into production and the short film will be seen exclusively on Rai Cinema Channel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For this third edition the screenplays will be evaluated by a jury composed by Pedro Armocida (Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro), Fulvio Firrito (Rai Cinema), Nicola Giuliano (Indigo Film), Michela Greco (Emergency), Paola Minaccioni (actress), Paola Randi (director) and Marina Sanna (Rivista del Cinematografo, selector Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia). <\/p>\n

Participation in the competition is free. It will be possible to apply by filling out the forms on the website Emergency<\/strong><\/a>, Indigo Film<\/strong><\/a> and Rai Cinema<\/strong><\/a> by 24 hours of 30\/06\/2021. <\/p>\n

Candidate screenplays<\/strong> must be suitable for the creation of a short film with a minimum duration of 3 minutes<\/strong>, be original and unpublished. The jury will select the winning screenplay based on the criteria of quality, originality, relevance to the assigned theme and production feasibility.
