\nDespite a difficult academic year, no less than 75 projects made the work of the jury, chaired by Ugo La Pietra, difficult but exciting. In this context, the 2020 edition stage, postponed due to the health emergency, will also be recovered.<\/p>\n
The contest<\/strong>, as in the past, aims to promote innovation<\/strong> and originality<\/strong> in the field of ceramic art<\/strong>, opening the doors to young people, a little like what happened in the 1920s and 1930s when Ceramiche Rometti<\/strong> hosted promising young artists who went on to become artists of the calibre of Corrado Cagli, Leoncillo Leonardi and Dante Baldelli. <\/p>\n The experience is being revived today, at the behest of Ceramiche Rometti owner Massimo Monini and artistic director Jean Christophe Clair, with the aim of combining the tradition<\/strong> and unmistakable style<\/strong> of Umbrian manufacturing<\/strong> with the innovation<\/strong> and originality<\/strong> of contemporary art and design.<\/p>\n
