“Filo”<\/strong>, the leading startup in the production of “IoT” tracking devices<\/strong> with Bluetooth technology, launches the second edition of “Design4Parents”<\/strong> in collaboration with ADI<\/strong> and Maker Faire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Call for applications Design4Parents<\/h3>\n

This is the only Italian call for designers<\/strong>, makers<\/strong> and innovators<\/strong> dedicated to the theme of new parenthood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is a prize fund of \u20ac10,000 divided between the first three winning projects: first prize of \u20ac7,000, second prize of \u20ac2,000 and third prize of \u20ac1,000. Full details of how to participate are available on the design4parents<\/strong><\/a> website.<\/p>\n

The aim of the competition is to direct the creativity of innovators and startuppers<\/strong> to the development of a object<\/strong> or a service<\/strong> useful to those who become parents for the first time<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Themes of the call<\/h3>\n

There are two thematic strands guiding the challenge:
\n– “Daily life at Covid’s time”<\/strong>: how has the pandemic changed the habits and needs of new families?
\n– “Education&Technology”<\/strong>: how can technology become an ally for children and parents?<\/p>\n

The call<\/strong> will be officially presented<\/strong> during the next edition of Maker Faire<\/strong> to be held from 8 to 10 October<\/strong> at the Gazometro in Rome (via del Commercio 9\/11) and online at makerfairerome<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The “Filo”<\/strong> team will be present with a stand and will open during the entire event some Q&A moments dedicated to the call<\/strong> which will close on 25 November 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Jury<\/h3>\n

The jury will examine the projects: Lapo Ceccherelli, designer and co-founder of Filo; Lorenzo Anselmi, marketing & product engineering director of Artsana; Alberto Oliverio, neuroscientist; Giorgia Lanzilli, writer; Anna Oliverio Ferraris, psychotherapist and developmental psychologist; Carlo Frinolli, CEO and founder & head of design NOIS3; Marika Aakesson designer and president of ADI Lazio.
