Enriching the Italian serial scene<\/strong> with new creativity, diversity of voices and inclusive points of view. This is the declared objective of the project “The Screenwriting Workshop”<\/strong>, the initiative of Premio Solinas<\/strong> and Netflix<\/strong>, aimed at young authors<\/strong> representing Italian multiculturalism<\/strong> who wish to develop stories for TV series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project<\/h3>\n

The Screenwriting Workshop<\/strong> is aimed at aspiring screenwriters<\/strong> aged between 18 and 35<\/strong>, of any nationality, with residence or domicile in Italy.<\/p>\n

After an initial selection, up to a maximum of twenty, the selected projects will have access to an initial orientation workshop<\/strong>, which will allow the authors to meet the jurors, present and discuss their projects with them. <\/p>\n

At the end, up to a maximum of ten projects will be selected, which will receive a scholarship<\/strong> of \u20ac2,500 each to take part in an advanced training workshop<\/strong>, with coaching sessions and master classes<\/strong> with Italian and international professionals. <\/p>\n

This experience will enable the authors to refine their knowledge and writing skills and take the next step: writing a pilot of their project. <\/p>\n

At the end of the workshop, the jurors will analyse the new materials received and select a first and a second project considered particularly deserving.
\nThe first selected project will be awarded the \u20ac6,000 prize of “The Screenwriting Workshop”<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The two most interesting proposals<\/strong> will also receive a proposal to work as assistants in a writers’room<\/strong> of a serial project in which Netflix<\/strong> is involved. <\/p>\n
