Expo 2020 Dubai, open Call “Sustainable Fashion Talent” for the design of a gamification proposal for fashion. Deadline October 28, 2021.<\/p>\n

As part of the activities put in place for the Rome Videogame Lab<\/strong> edition 2021<\/strong> and Expo 2020 Dubai<\/strong>, the Lazio Region<\/strong> is promoting the “Sustainable Fashion Talent”<\/strong> program, a collaboration and co-design initiative aimed at involving the protagonists of Game development<\/strong> and Fashion design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The contest<\/h3>\n

The starting point for the contest was the participation of the Lazio Region<\/strong>, Unioncamere Lazio<\/strong> and the Camera di Commercio di Roma<\/strong>, together with a representation of SMEs in Lazio<\/strong>, in the fourth edition of “RomeVideoGame Lab – RVGL21<\/a>“<\/strong>, an international event dedicated to video games<\/strong> and applied games<\/strong>, which will take place at the Studi di Cinecitt\u00e0<\/strong> from 4 to 7 November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event aims to promote the culture<\/strong> and the potential of video games<\/strong> as an enabling factor in both human and digital terms.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Fashion Talent<\/h3>\n

The objective of the “SUSTAINABLE FASHION TALENT”<\/strong> path, which is aimed at already formed teams or individual participants, is the enhancement of the fashion supply chain<\/strong> through video games and\/or gamification, in order to build and facilitate access to the international markets ASEAN<\/strong>, MENASA<\/strong> and IORA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The teams will compete in the creation of the best concept <\/strong>of valorization on international markets of the fashion supply chain and fashion design through video games and\/or gamification.<\/p>\n

The best projects<\/h3>\n

The best projects selected will be presented during the “Focus Moda”<\/strong>, an initiative to enhance the fashion sector of the Lazio<\/strong> Region<\/strong> that will take place at the Italian Pavilion<\/strong> at Expo 2020 Dubai<\/strong> scheduled for early 2022, with the date currently being defined.<\/p>\n

Individual experts as well as professionals and companies with expertise in: game<\/strong>\/gamification<\/strong>, fashion<\/strong> and fashion design<\/strong>, business modeling<\/strong>, marketing<\/strong> and communication<\/strong>, internationalization<\/strong> can participate. <\/p>\n

The field<\/strong> of the challenge is fashion<\/strong>, with particular reference to the themes<\/strong> of sustainability<\/strong> and inclusivity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first meeting to share project ideas will take place on November 4<\/strong> at 3:30 pm<\/strong> at Fellini Hall<\/strong>, Cinecitt\u00e0 Studios<\/strong>. During this meeting, the teams will have the opportunity to meet with experts from the reference sectors<\/strong>, in order to concretize their idea and better focus the concept.<\/p>\n

The application form must be completed no later than October 28, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
