The Settimo Cielo<\/strong> association is launching a call for residency “All Around and Inside”<\/strong>, for artistic projects that have multimedia research<\/strong> and the practical use of new technologies<\/strong> at the heart of their creation.<\/p>\n

The call<\/strong> is aimed at artists<\/strong>, companies<\/strong>, graphic designer<\/strong>, programmers<\/strong>, designers<\/strong> working in the fields of live performance<\/strong>, digital art<\/strong>, video mapping<\/strong>, podcasting<\/strong> and augmented reality<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

What is offered to the winners<\/h3>\n

The winners (up to three) will be offered the opportunity to develop their project<\/strong> by being assigned one or more periods of residence<\/strong> from 7<\/strong> to 15 days<\/strong>, during which they will have the use of the spaces of the La Fenice<\/strong> theatre in Arsoli (Rome), the association’s operational headquarters, the technical equipment<\/strong> and the foresteria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participation in the call<\/h3>\n

Each author\/collective<\/strong> may participate with only one project<\/strong>, thus being entitled to: the free use of the digital equipment of the “All around and inside” project; the free use of the spaces of the La Fenice Theatre in Arsoli (Rome), including the technical equipment; the use of the guesthouse\/apartment with use of the kitchen (for a maximum of 4 people); free technical assistance on the day of arrival and the day of departure. At the end of the residency the artist\/company\/collective will be asked to give back to the public in the most appropriate form for the stage the project is in (presentation, meeting, open rehearsal or other).<\/p>\n

The selection for the All Around and Inside call<\/h3>\n

Selection<\/strong> will take place through examination of the applications submitted<\/strong>. The application must contain: cv of the artist\/company\/collective; title of the project, number of artists involved, credits, synopsis; description of the creative path already undertaken and of the subsequent stages of development envisaged; any paths, residencies or studies already undertaken; technical requirements; a multimedia content (from a simple discursive presentation to a concrete example of one’s own work) of a maximum of 10 minutes. The projects will be selected by the artistic directors<\/strong> of the association “Settimo Cielo”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Applications must be sent no later than 11.59 p.m.<\/strong> on 15 December 2021<\/strong> to the email address organizzazione@settimocielo.net<\/strong><\/a> indicating in the subject line only: “Call for proposals ALL AROUND AND INSIDE – Name of the project”<\/strong>.
