The “DE NATURA SONORUM 2021 – API”<\/strong> project by RUFA student Wang Yu Xiang<\/strong><\/a>, with the support of lecturer<\/strong> and Sound Engineer<\/strong> Federico Landini<\/strong><\/a>, will take place from 20 to 22 December<\/strong> at the Label 2021<\/strong> exhibition space in Via Portuense 201, Rome.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

The DE NATURA SONORUM 2021 project – API<\/h3>\n

Wang Yu Xiang worked on the sound of ambulances<\/strong> recorded in different cities. The deconstruction of sounds<\/strong> has a connection with the space of the exhibition area, which resembles a chapel<\/strong>. The aim is to initiate a reflection on a space outside of time<\/strong>, in search of a contemporary “sacredness”<\/strong>. The name of the work “API”<\/strong> comes from the social and collective behaviour of bees associated with the “buzzing of an ambulance”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

KH Laboratory<\/h3>\n

The performance is developed under the curatorship of KH<\/strong>. KH Laboratory<\/strong> is an anonymous collective<\/strong>. It is to be thought of as a container of thought<\/strong>, a blog<\/strong>, from notes called Notebooks<\/strong>, exhibition projects<\/strong> (both in-house and external) and experimental projects<\/strong> only online. <\/p>\n

It is not to be thought of as a pyramid with a vertex, nor as a round table, but rather as a hemisphere<\/strong>. As in the vision of a work by C\u00e9zanne, a focal centre appears, but as the eye sweeps around<\/strong>, each part wishes to show itself, render itself and present itself in its best possible visibility, in order to be better understood. Not a direction but a plane to which to belong.<\/p>\n

The laboratory proposes itself as a creative project that investigates (and proposes) the new artistic scene and acts as a real place of investigation and dialogue.
