0 to 0 \u221e is the title of the performance by the Visual Arts student <\/span> Vanshika Agrawal<\/span><\/a>, held on Sunday 2 October at the Gallery AAIE Center for Contemporary Art. <\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

\nThe infinite possibilities outside us
\nIn a forever changing world

\n0 to 0<\/em> is a slip into white immaterial abstraction<\/strong>, need to dissolve and merge the body in spatial and temporal landmark, abolishing all materiality and resistances in the given context while at the same time, imparting a materiality and fragility inside the white cube.
\nBy using this traditional device the artist activates the transcendental modes of presence and power, that by definition give access to the another world.
\nBody as a dissolved matter in an enclosed space becomes a challenging reality.
\nThe performance has been conceptualized as a response to constant evolving and withering mass<\/strong>. The artist encloses herself in a transparent cube situated on a display pedestal as a classic iconic image and the fog slowly starts filling the cube.
\nEliminating the traces of art object. Leaving white stillness and the presence of being. Body in constraint investigates the authority of it, referring to female identity and ideologies around it.
\nAgrawal talks about duality and fragility<\/strong> of the changing world, by working among a plurality of cultural signs.
\nHer performances deal with immaterial, movement, and existence of the body in its immediate surroundings, presenting the composition of time and construction of space with delicacy and intimacy.
