L’artista cinese ha scelto l’isola di Lesbo come cornice della sua opera<\/h3>\n

L\u2019artista cinese Ai Weiwei battezza il 2016 con un nuovo progetto artistico: la realizzazione di un grande memoriale dedicato ai profughi che hanno perso la vita in mare nella speranza di raggiungere l\u2019Europa. L\u2019intervento sar\u00e0 fatto nell\u2019isola greca di Lesbo, dove il primo gennaio l\u2019artista ha tenuto una conferenza stampa per annunciare la sua idea. L\u2019isola \u00e8 da tempo meta degli sbarchi di profughi provenienti dal Medio Oriente e per questo Ai Weiwei ha fatto visita alle sue coste, incontrando i migranti e postando un video che mostra l\u2019arrivo di un gommone carico di persone. \u00abQuesto \u00e8 un momento storico da ogni punto di vista.
