Katja Centomo has been a transmedia storyteller in charge of the Red Whale publishing studio for twenty years. She works in the comics, cartoons and children’s fiction industry, offering her artistic and editorial direction skills to companies such as Disney, Mondadori, Rizzoli, Piemme, DeAgostini, Lux Vide and Rainbow, for international properties such as Geronimo Stilton and Winx Club. She is a lyricist for children’s musicals and after the creation of Monster Allergy, (a comic and cartoon series distribute throughout the world), she has worked on several comic book series, the last of which is the upcoming “7 Crimini” which she scripted and directed. As a writer she has written numerous novels, five for Einaudi Ragazzi with whom she has just published, “la Fune d’acciaio”. Thanks to the experience acquired in the management of characters, today she is the Intellectual Properties Manager for the video game producer Ignition Publishing. In partnership with Sciarretta law firm, she has created the assistance service for cartoonists “Authors and Law”.
