Er nasone

Celebrating social identity by drawing inspiration from a symbol of Roman culture: “er nasone”. This is the affectionate nickname Romans use for the famous cast-iron drinking fountains found throughout the streets of the capital. The reinterpretation of this object gave rise to an installation that echoes the distinctive shape of the curved tap from which a drop of water flows, with its silhouette becoming a welcoming seat. The base evokes the idea of a basin collecting water. The playful identity of the nasone is combined with an essential, linear design, intriguing users through its playful and ironic appearance: an unusual image within the urban space.
