Service Cinema

Lights, camera, action!

The RUFA Cinema Service was created to complement the teaching offered by the School of Cinema with the practical activities that define this programme, which has a strong focus on audiovisual production. The service provides students not only with the technical equipment required for practical exercises, but also with operational guidance on how to use it and how to identify the most suitable setup for each project.

The service

The aim is simple and direct: to give students the opportunity to work directly with key professional equipment, gaining first-hand experience after being introduced to it during classroom teaching.

Direct contact with professional tools helps students strengthen their technical skills and develop a deeper understanding of film and audiovisual production processes.

Equipment management, maintenance and care

The Cinema Service is responsible for checking, inspecting and maintaining all equipment used throughout the academic year, ensuring that it remains efficient and fully operational.

At the same time, the service continuously researches up-to-date and flexible technical solutions to support the production of increasingly high-performing audiovisual work aligned with professional standards.

Training in responsible equipment use

The Cinema Service is also responsible for training students in the correct use of equipment. Students receive all the information required for responsible equipment management, from proper use to storage, developing a sense of responsibility and respect for shared resources. This approach helps prepare aware and reliable professionals who can work effectively in structured and organised environments.

Project production support

Working with the coordinators of the School of Cinema, the Cinema Service contributes to the organisation of the annual production plan, allowing students to borrow RUFA equipment. This gives them the opportunity to test their skills in practice and produce audiovisual projects that reflect professional methods, standards and working dynamics.

The Cinema Service operates according to a schedule based on the academic production plans. To arrange an appointment, please contact the Service directly.
