The RUFA Career Service supports your transition from education to employment by connecting you directly with companies, creative studios, museums, production companies, and public and private organisations operating in Rome, Milan and internationally. Through interdisciplinary, hands-on and professionally focused teaching, you gain access to an ecosystem of real opportunities that enhance your talent and help you build your career in art, design, audiovisual production, communication and new media.

Education, experience and connections that prepare you for the future

During your time at RUFA, you take part in internships, workshops, masterclasses, talks, project work and collaborations with external partners, helping you develop the technical, creative and interpersonal skills required by the professional world. You are supported by professional tutors, who guide you towards opportunities in areas such as:

creative companies and design studios;
communication and brand identity agencies;
museums, foundations and cultural institutions;
film and audiovisual production companies;
artists’ studios and ateliers;
start-ups and digital organisations;
public-sector and non-profit organisations.

The aim is to help you gain practical experience and build a competitive professional portfolio while you are still studying.

Internships and placement

To activate your curricular internship, contact the Internships Office – Career Service and Alumni (careers.alumni@unirufa.it) at least 10 days before the start date.

In your email, please include:

programme of study
name of the host company or organisation
contact details of the relevant representative
expected internship start date

The Internships Office will provide all the necessary guidance and manage the procedure together with the host partner.

The Academy provides insurance cover for students throughout the internship and offers support at every stage of the selection and activation process.
