Since 2025, RUFA Research Doctorates have completed the Academy’s educational offering with third-cycle programmes dedicated to artistic and design research. Their introduction marks a new phase for the Italian Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance system: artistic practice enters doctoral education as a research method and a tool for the production of knowledge.
Through dialogue with universities, cultural institutions, archives and professional organisations, RUFA develops programmes in which art, science and innovation contribute to the evolution of contemporary languages and knowledge.
