RUFA is pleased to present the 2026 edition of RUFA ON SCREEN, the biennial film showcase created to promote and support the work of RUFA students and Alumni from the Cinema, Film Arts and Computer Animation and Visual Effects programmes.
RUFA ON SCREEN 2026 – IL BANDO
RUFA ON SCREEN will provide an opportunity for audiovisual works created by RUFA students and graduates (who graduated from September 2023 onwards) to be screened on the big screen and gain visibility.
The event aims to establish direct contact with the film market through opportunities for discussion with industry professionals, production companies, distributors and promoters. The showcase will take place in Rome from 14 to 16 April 2026, and the screenings will also be open to the general public.
Each participant who meets the requirements set out in Art. 2 of the call, whether a student or alumnus, may submit one or more audiovisual works falling into the following categories:
- Best fiction short film, max 15′ excluding credits
- Best animation and experimental work, max 15′ excluding credits
- Best documentary film (experimental or otherwise), max 1h15 including credits
The three official awards include the awarding of three distribution contracts. Works that already have a distribution contract may participate only for the Audience Award and the Jury Award.
