RUFA continues the 2025/2026 Talk series with a new event dedicated to contemporary audiovisual production and the transformations of digital storytelling. The speakers of the event will be Matteo Bruno and Marco Cioni from Slim Dogs, an Italian video production company founded in 2014 by Matteo Bruno (known as Cane Secco), Giovanni Santonocito, Adriano Santucci and Marco Cioni.
Slim Dogs is a production company active in the audiovisual field that brings together filmmakers, directors, editors, musicians, FX compositors, authors and camera operators, engaged every day in the creation of original editorial content linked to the world of cinema and TV series. Specialised in digital communication, branded content, commercials, documentaries and music videos, it has developed over time a strong connection with the YouTube community, becoming a point of reference thanks to its ability to combine education, entertainment and experimentation. Over the years, Slim Dogs has collaborated with major international brands such as Netflix, Google, Adidas and Amazon Prime Video, producing creative, high-quality content in the digital storytelling landscape. Within the project, Matteo Bruno (Cane Secco) works as a videomaker and DOP (Director of Photography), representing one of the creative forces of the company, while Marco Cioni, as CEO, oversees marketing and management.
Starting from projects such as the documentary BENETTON FORMULA, the talk will tell RUFA students what it means today to produce audiovisual content in an independent, creative and participatory way. Through the sharing of practical insights and contemporary strategies, Slim Dogs will offer a direct testimony on current production models and on the dynamics that characterise work in the audiovisual and digital sectors.
