The two sessions, each lasting approximately 2 hours, will offer an exploratory experience combining movement, emotion, and awareness, guided by psychologist and certified dance therapist Luisa Vagniluca. Through body-based and creative techniques, participants will explore body language as a tool for expression and deep connection with themselves and others.
By integrating psychological and artistic elements, dance therapy makes it possible to work on personal and relational themes, fostering psycho-physical well-being, stress management, and the development of authentic self-expression.
This initiative is part of a broader path promoted by RUFA to increasingly place the mental well-being of its community at the center. We believe that supporting students’ psycho-physical health is a fundamental component of both artistic and personal education.
Planned Activities
The workshop is divided into four main moments:
- an initial body warm-up
- a central, more interactive and relational phase, with movement dialogues in pairs and groups
- a final part where a collective dance is created starting from the gestures and movements of all participants
- a brief circle sharing of the lived experience
The proposed activities do not require any specific skills or experience and are adapted to the needs of each participant.
Objectives
The workshop aims to encourage self-expression and creativity in a safe and welcoming environment, enhance body awareness and movement exploration, and create a relational experience by valuing the group as a resource. Participants will have the opportunity to experience greater harmony between body and mind, gain tools to express and manage their emotions through movement, and strengthen their sense of well-being and vitality in daily life.
Methodology
The workshop combines elements of expressive-relational dance therapy and contemporary dance, focusing on the essential and spontaneous nature of gesture. Group work promotes a wide range of communicative and creative possibilities, adding another element to self-care, care of one’s body, and one’s movement.
