Barbara Stallone holds a degree in Architecture from IUAV University of Venice and a Master’s degree from the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio (USI), where she developed her thesis under the supervision of Mario Botta.
After gaining professional experience at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in New York, she continued her career in Paris, collaborating with internationally renowned practices such as Kengo Kuma & Associates and Sou Fujimoto Architects. She later specialized in Set Design for high-fashion shows, working with Villa Eugénie and Bureau Betak and contributing to events for international fashion houses including Hermès, Moncler, and Chanel.
She took part in the 59th Venice Architecture Biennale as part of the Italian Pavilion.In 2020, she co-founded EX FIGURA with Francisco Silva, a multidisciplinary studio exploring the fields of interior design, exhibition design, scenography, and installations. The studio has received recognition and won competitions for temporary and site-specific projects.
