Francesco Pennìca

My passion for still photography and movies started when I was very young and led me to study cinema at college.

After having acquired a Degree in Direction of Photography at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Scuola Nazionale di Cinema, under the guidance of Giuseppe Rotunno ASC AIC, I started my professional career in the camera department in 2004, first as camera assistant, then as camera operator.

In the past eleven years I have been a cinematographer for numerous jobs, very different from each other. Therefore, I had the chance to put my creativity to good use for multiple entertainment products all over the world, such as: features, documentaries, music videos, commercials, TV series and TV shows. I am constantly looking for projects with challenging visual storytelling, requiring outstanding technical and artistic skills.
