The reduction in tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year is determined on the basis of the ISEE value, a summary indicator of the economic situation of the student’s household.

ISEE: WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO CALCULATE IT

The 2026 Ordinary ISEE is a summary indicator of the economic situation of the student’s household, which the interested student must have calculated at a Tax Assistance Centre (CAF), on the INPS website or by their accountant. The Ordinary ISEE required for A.Y. 2026-2027 is the 2026 ISEE.

In the case of a foreign student not residing in Italy, or a foreign student residing in Italy who is not financially independent and whose family members reside abroad, or an Italian student residing abroad who is not registered with AIRE, it is possible to obtain a reduction in tuition fees and the regional tax through the ISEE-U Parificato, which is used in cases where it is not possible to calculate the standard university ISEE. Further information regarding the documentation to be submitted, issued by the competent authorities of the country in which the income was earned and translated into Italian by the Italian diplomatic authorities with territorial jurisdiction, will be provided directly by the organisations the student contacts for the calculation of the ISEE-U.

DEADLINES: WHEN TO SUBMIT THE DECLARATION
