ROMAN RUINS

TALK & LIVE CONCERT

An event bringing together music, photography, graphic design and artistic production, followed by a live performance by Alvin Curran and IATO ENSEMBLE.

On Friday 30 October at 6 pm, RUFA Space will host the Rome premiere presentation of the album Roman Ruins, produced by the We Insist! Foundation. An event open to everyone, celebrating the dialogue between creative disciplines and musical experimentation.

RUFA invites its community and the wider public to RUFA Space, at Via degli Ausoni 7 in Rome, for a special event bringing together artistic exchange, experimentation and live music.

At the heart of the event is the presentation of Roman Ruins, an album by Alvin Curran, produced by the We Insist! Foundation. This musical project brings together numerous musicians and explores the practice of Conduction, a distinctive approach to musical direction that places interaction and collective creation at its core.

The event will offer an opportunity to explore how a musical project is conceived, developed and communicated, highlighting the contributions of different creative professionals: from artistic direction and production to photography, graphic design, distribution and promotion.

This interdisciplinary dialogue reflects RUFA’s approach to artistic education and research, where different creative languages, skills and perspectives come together to shape new creative processes.
