RUFA’s first Annual Report covers the year 2015. It is a volume that combines the Academy’s technological dimension with its hands-on approach. A complex project resulting from the preparation and meticulous attention of those who conceived and produced it. All the Academy’s professional expertise was involved, from the choice of paper to the internal organisation of the content. The semi-rigid cover, made of textured cobalt-blue paper, immediately links to external digital content through QR codes, which become a graphic pattern printed using screen printing. Inside, the report presents all the data and figures, a selection of the best projects, an overview of the main events and partnerships, and finally a list of all the key figures of the year. A special internal insert was dedicated to the RUFA Contest 2015, the year’s main event. To recount this experience, it was designed to stand apart from the rest of the publication, not only in format but also through a different type of paper, a black background and desaturated images. Across approximately one hundred pages, the careful composition of images and content, together with the choice of colours, conveys all the dynamism and creativity of the Academy.
