OUT – L’arte di perdersi

Flavia Softa

The project stems from a reflection on people’s behaviour towards museums. The aim is to break down the gap between museums and society, helping people understand how necessary art is and that it is not necessary to be an expert in order to interpret or judge it.

OUT guarantees a personalized experience: the focal point of the service is a labyrinth-shaped space where digital replicas of artworks from local museums will be displayed. These will be rearranged according to different themes, providing a constantly changing perspective for interpretation. Each visitor will be able to choose their own path, guided by emotions and sensations. They will be able to save artworks using a badge and, through this, receive a recommendation for the artwork that best represents their journey. They will then have the opportunity to visit the original artwork in the museum and explore it further through the app.

In this way, the gap between museums and society is reduced by creating a space where people can become familiar with art, discover it, and discover themselves.
