Lorenzo Adorisio - Ritratto

Lorenzo Adorisio is a cinematographer, born in Rome in 1962. He graduated in Photography in 1990 and began working at the age of 24, shooting numerous commercials for Filmaster.

For over ten years, he collaborated with Pietro Valsecchi’s TAODUE, serving as director of photography on all seasons of Squadra Antimafia and RIS – Delitti Imperfetti, as well as on Checco Zalone’s first film, Cado dalle nubi.

Alongside this work, he has collaborated with major production companies: for Palomar, he worked on Il giovane Montalbano, directed by Gianluca Tavarelli; for Aurora TV, on the first two prime-time seasons of Il Paradiso delle Signore; and for IBC Movie, on Imma Tataranni – Sostituto Procuratore, directed by Francesco Amato.

His work in cinema also includes auteur films such as Picciridda and L’amore che ho.

In parallel with his career as a cinematographer, he has also worked as a director. In 2004, he made the short film CHORA, which received numerous awards at Italian and international festivals, and in 2023 he directed La festa del ritorno, currently available on Amazon Prime.
