“KATA LOGON – The Poetics of (Past) Time” seeks to become a work in its own right.

The aim is to present a different vision of time: not chronological, but kairological. Central to the project is the attention given to the moment, captured in its quality of non-(re)presentation and analysed according to the idea that each moment possesses its own uniqueness.

It is this uniqueness which, accumulated over the course of time, shapes our days and our years, leading us to the awareness that we are the consequence of what we have experienced.

There is no need to assign time a meaning such as “present”, “past” or “future”, because it is a way of experiencing time that Augustine associated with the capacity for sensory perception inherent in human existence: the ability to perceive one’s surroundings and to live every moment available to us.

It means understanding and becoming aware of how much time lies behind the creation of elective affinities, and of the gratitude felt towards those who accompany us every day, following our steps and becoming, often unconsciously, a tangible part of them.

People become the addition, the key to interpretation and the mechanism of this poetics, which presents itself as the core of our continuous becoming.
