Francesco Fabbri was born in Perugia, Italy, in 1985. After graduating from the National Film School of Rome (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) in 2014, he began his professional career in the film industry as an assistant editor and editor, collaborating with internationally acclaimed editors and directors including Paolo Sorrentino, Mattia Torre, Sergio Rubini, Daniele Segre, Domenico Procacci, Pappi Corsicato, Roberto Perpignani, Giogiò Franchini, Cristiano Travaglioli, and many others. Over the years, he has worked with some of Italy’s leading film and television production companies.
Alongside his work as an editor, he has been involved in short films, video art, and documentaries as a screenwriter, cinematographer, and director.
In 2025, he directed his debut film, “The Broom Flowers”. His new documentary, “I Call the Wind”, is currently in production.
