The RUFA San Lorenzo Campus, in the heart of Rome’s most creative district, occupies the iconic spaces of the former Pastificio Cerere, surrounded by artists’ studios and post-industrial architecture. Here you will study in an international environment across three floors dedicated to teaching, exhibitions and projects showcasing RUFA’s artistic output. Inspired by New York lofts, the 1,500-square-metre spaces combine practicality and atmosphere, enabling ideas and creative processes to become tangible works.
Inside the Pastificio, you will also find the Semoleria, a versatile space for talks, workshops, events, performances, exhibitions and presentations. This modern cultural hub features a terrace and connects directly to RUFA Space, making it ideal for interdisciplinary experiences and for showcasing the community’s creativity.
The campus is also home to RUFA LAB, the Academy’s digital research and fabrication laboratory. In this production centre, you can design and experiment using 3D printers, laser cutters, milling machines and technologies dedicated to product design, lighting and multimedia, in a place where craftsmanship and innovation meet every day.
Completing the campus is the RUFA Arena, a rooftop street football pitch above the Pastificio: a unique space designed to offer moments of sport and wellbeing between classes. It is an innovative project that reflects the Academy’s contemporary and experimental spirit.
