Alessandro Martina

My sense of wonder in art begins with the materiality of colour and then expands into an exploration of wonder itself. I consider art a true form of language and, as such, I try to absorb it and express myself through it using the most diverse media: photography, writing, sculpture, poetry and also writing. In my texts, I extend my vision of art into a pataphysical imagination. In the concept of the absurd, I rediscover the freedom lost in our historical moment.
