Graphic Design
Fabrizio Crollari.

Fabrizio Crollari was born in Rome in 1993 and lives in Anguillara Sabazia. After completing his studies as a surveyor in 2017, he decided to begin a new educational path in the field of visual communication, enrolling in the First-Level Academic Programme in graphic design at Rome University of Fine Arts. His interest in this field began in relation to dyslexia, a condition that affects him personally and led him to reflect on the different ways in which visual communication takes place and is interpreted. Immersing himself in the local context in which he lives, he developed a strong vision of graphic design as a practice of social engagement, particularly in relation to local issues. In 2020 he began collaborating with the Fidelia project, a non-profit social promotion association that aims to enhance all forms of expression and local realities that characterise the area of Anguillara Sabazia. Through this experience, he had the opportunity to rediscover the value of exchange and synergy, working with people from different professional fields. At the end of 2021 he began collaborating with the artistic studio of Paolo W. Tamburella, a contemporary visual artist based in Rome, for whom he manages the photographic archive of the works and the creation of digital and editorial graphic materials for the studio.

Sedimenti – Anguillara Sabazia – Memorie e identità

Sedimenti is a thesis project based on the analogy between memory loss and the preservation of the identity of a fisherman, Goffredo Delle Fratte, and his town.

The pages of Sedimenti capture those languages and memories that preserve the essence of a small village in the province of Rome.

A collection of archival photographs and previously unpublished images, with illustrations and interviews that swim through the souls of those who know how to remember. Stories, photographs, writings, trades and customs are the remains and sediments of a fisherman and his town, Anguillara Sabazia.
